Shiok Meats is the world’s first cultivated crustacean meat company, and Southeast Asia’s first cultivated seafood company. Motivated by their love for both food and innovative science, they use years of knowledge to create sustainable, delicious and healthy meats that will help future proof our planet.

Their Challenge

A fast-developing food tech startup geared for exponential growth, Shiok Meats engaged Firebelly to elevate their branding and marketing in light of this rapid expansion.

Our Solution

Firebelly carried out a full audit of the Shiok Meats brand, including a competitor analysis and full audit of their website and social platforms. From there, we created a brand manifesto to articulate their driving purpose. This included carving out their vision, mission and core values. We also refreshed their ESG messaging and visual identity. With this revamped persona, we plotted a sharp marketing strategy to position them towards the food service and HORECA segments. The rebranding came complete with a new website, which Firebelly helped to design and launch.

Firebelly also carried out brand ambassador and internal brand culture workshops with Shiok Meats to increase employee advocacy and align their team with the company’s vision and philosophy.
